- Biography/other books read (at least one book completed)
- The majority of research completed
- Research notes on graphic organizer sheets - majority completed
- Projects are chosen (and can be started)
May 13th-May 19th
- Working on major projects and minor components (Use project checklist for guidance.)
- Read /research further to attain additional information as needed
- Begin to think about and gather clothing/items you will need to become history maker
May 20th-May 22nd
- Complete all projects / station components
- Have clothing/items needed to become history maker
By May 23rd all work should be complete with the exception of minor revisions / additions; all station components should be at school.

- Finishing touches & station set-up
- Prepare for Living Museum Presentation

Living Museum Project Components
Required Components
--Read at least one biography book on chosen history maker
--Conduct research and complete research and record information on graphic organizers
--Artifacts/symbols, inventions and other items that represent history maker
--Conduct research and complete research and record information on graphic organizers

Major Components (Minimum: Two required)
--Poster/Pictorial with pictures and detailed facts
--Timelines with dates, pictures, detailed important events
(in chronological order)
--Time Capsule / Chest / Other object unique to your history maker with important items
from the person's life, including index cards stating why each item is important

--Book / Pop-up book /Shape Book about history maker
--Report about him/her
--Your own unique ideas for your station
Minor Components (Minimum: One required)
--Quotes by your history maker (Poster /Quote Pyramid/other display)
--Poem about the person (acrostic for example)
--Trading cards, bookmarks, or other item to give to visitor
--Other ideas you have for your station
