Special Friends Day 2018

Parker's annual Special Friends Day was enjoyed by students and family members!

Our recently elected President, Vice President, and Secretary of Class took the Oath of Office. our departing President and Secretary helped out with the ceremony.

After a lot of hard work campaigning, writing speeches, and debating, 4-5 students had the opportunity to vote for Class President, Vice President, and Secretary of Class.

Five political parties were represented in this year's election, The Bee Party, The Constitution Controllers, The DJ Llamas, The Enchanted Raccoons, and The L.I.M.E.s.

Government Unit Happenings in the 4/5 Classroom

Candidates and campaign managers have been hard at work preparing for our upcoming debates between the candidates! 

Ex-Senator Joseph Bruno, visited the 4/5 classroom as a guest speaker. 

Scientific Research

The Water Warriors, Steam Surveyors, and Team Width groups presented their research finding at assembly.  The groups were articulate and informative.

Regeneron visits Parker School

The 4/5 students conducted scientific experiments during Regeneron's visit to Parker. These included extracting strawberry DNA, erupting elephant toothpaste and creating magnetic slime!
