The 4/5s hard at work on their animation projects.

Several skills had to be utilized to develop each scene, including logical thought process, attention to detail, problem solving, creativity, and collaboration to develop their scenes.

As part of our 30 X 30 challenge, the 4/5s had morning meeting in the garden gazebo, used their senses to create “wordles” about nature, and recorded video interviews with their Spanish speaking puppets.

Sonja shared a power point presentation with classmates about her recent trip to Spain.  Sonja’s presentation was interesting and informative!

Our field trip to Vicarious Visions was fun, informative, and inspiring!  I think we may have some future animators in our class.

The 4/5 students visited Doane Stuart School and did a wonderful presentation about the honey bee.  They showed their informative power point presentations and then played a game about the honey bees with Doane’s 4th and 5th graders.   All the students did an incredible job!
