The 4/5s have been learning about the United States federal government.

Students learned about the 3 Branches of Government, then created visual representations, which included the heads/members of each branch, their primary responsibilities, and symbols to represent each branch.

Students also learned about elections and voting.
The 4-5s will be having a classroom election on election day to vote for Class President, Vice President and Secretary of Class.

Candidates, along with campaign managers will be campaigning, writing speeches, and preparing for our upcoming debates!
Here are the parties in this year's election:

The Bee Party

The DJ Llamas

The Constitution Controllers

The Enchanted Raccoons

The L.I.M.E.S

Last Friday was Robert C. Parker Day. Students went on an all school hike. The 4-5 students hiked with their Pre-K buddies.  After the hike, buddies planted bulbs that will bloom into beautiful flowers in the spring.

Math 4 students enjoy math challenges and math games that develop and strengthen math skills.

Congratulations to all our cross country runners!
